Traveling to Rwanda means embarking on a journey to the origin of the times, when the great primates shared their forests next to the Batwa tribes. Before agriculture, livestock and European settlers disrupt the natural balance in which they always lived and whose memory, even today, survives among the fog that each morning announces the arrival of a new sun.
Elephants, rhinos, giraffes, chimpanzees, golden monkeys and hundreds of bird species, put the golden brooch on a nation that in 1994 was sunk in tragedy and that today has resurfaced as a phoenix bird. The history of the rebirth of a society that has found in nature the most valuable resource to be preserved, to build a prosperous and peaceful country.

Best time to travel to Rwanda
Rwanda has a temperate climate, as due to its altitude, it has lower temperatures than other Ecuadorian countries, which is why the best time to travel to Rwanda is all year round. In the center of the country, the average temperature is between 12oC and 27oC. It has two rainy seasons; the first, which extends from February to June and the second, from September to December, separated by two dry seasons. The thunderstorms in Rwanda are well known for their intensity.
- Health - Vaccines Mandatory international vaccine certificate. Yellow fever is mandatory and others are recommended (typhoid, tetanus..). Rift Valley advises advice from international vaccination centers before starting the trip.
- Visa An entry permit must be requested online and will be used to obtain the visa on arrival at Kigali airport, where payment of USD 60 to apply for such permission must be made.
- Currency Rwanda's currency is the Rwandan Franco. Dollars and euros in cash can be exchanged at major banks and hotels. ATMs are in Kigali. Credit cards are accepted (VISA, EUROCARD and MASTERCARD).

- Kigali Founded by German settlers in 1907, Kigali is a city located in the center of the country that was declared the capital of Rwanda in 1962.

Rwanda National Parks
Volcanoes National Park
It is the oldest National Park in Africa located in Rwanda, founded in 1925 to protect the mountain gorilla populations living in the region. Four years later it became part of the large Albert National Park, now known as the Virunga National Park.
Akagera National Park
Located in the far northeast of Rwanda, this national park was founded in 1934 and represents the largest protected wetland in Africa. A wild ecosystem of incalculable value, which occupies 10% of the country's surface and hosts a history of overcoming as few.
The Nyungwe Jungle
To talk about Nyungwe, is to talk about Rwanda's biggest wooded system. A vegetable of life located in the southwest end of the country next to the border with Burundi, which houses four ecosystems of great natural value: the mountain forest, the meadows, the bamboo forest and the wetland.
